Council Goals & Responsibilities

• Communicate the needs of the low-income population in the Lake of the Ozarks Food Bank.
• Communicate emerging or criticial issues (Such as plant closings, natural disasters, etc.) that may have an impact for The Food Bank and its hunger relief efforts in Lake of the Ozarks.
• Serve as an advocate for The Food Bank.
• Link The Food Bank with community resources such as civic clubs, faith based organizations, community contacts leadership, media contacts, possible food and funding sources.
• Work with The Food Bank staff by helping with at least one major/fund raising project annually and other appropriate initiatives like Adopt-A-Buddy for Buddy Packs.
